Birthstones are a popular method for people to communicate significance via their jewellery choices, notably when shopping for gifts for close friends or family members. There are several distinct birthstone sets that have emerged over time in various countries.

The traditional April birthstone is diamond, however we're not great lovers of diamonds owing to major ethical concerns and the fact that they're too pricey for what they are. So we chose two distinct clear stones as diamond alternatives: white topaz, which is less expensive, and moissanite, which has a comparable shine to diamonds but is ethically lab produced.
